A field report on Peninsula Soccer League, doing business as Albion SC — a San Diego club in the Girls Academy Southwest, at the center of a national Albion affiliate network and a since-dormant pro club. Built from thirteen years of Form 990 filings.
Albion SC ran $4.77M through its books in 2023 but ended the year with just $548K in net assets and $582K in liabilities. It has reported negative net assets in three separate years (2017, 2019, 2020) — something no other club in this project has done more than once.
“Albion” is a national network — affiliate clubs in Santa Clarita, the Central Valley, the Bay Area, Miami, Hawaii and Minnesota, several with their own EINs — plus a professional team, Albion San Diego, that played two NISA seasons before going on hiatus in 2024. All of it runs under CEO Noah Gins.
Revenue tripled from $1.57M (2011) to $4.77M (2023), but the club spent more than it took in during six of those thirteen years, and its reserves have swung between modestly positive and outright negative throughout.
Net assets were negative in 2017 (−$11K), 2019 (−$158K) and 2020 (−$149K) — liabilities exceeded everything the nonprofit owned. Liabilities have stayed above $580K every year since 2019.
The 2023 Form 990 was filed July 1, 2026 — about 30 months after the year ended. No 2024 or 2025 return is on file yet, so the picture here stops at the end of 2023.

The flagship youth club. Noah Gins has led it for more than two decades and is described in club materials as overseeing both the youth and professional arms.
Albion licenses its name and program to clubs around the country — a franchise-style network comparable to the “City SC National Affiliate Network” documented elsewhere in this project. Each affiliate is its own corporation; how fees or royalties move between them and San Diego is not public.
Albion described the move as “completing the professional pyramid.” The pro side is operated separately from the youth nonprofit; its financials are not public. The team is not currently playing.
CEO Noah Gins's reported pay rose from about $154K (2018, as Technical Director) to $168K (2023). By 2023 the filing named five staff earning $135K–$168K — roughly $728K combined, about 16% of expenses.
