San Diego Surf, Legends FC, SoCal Blues, Beach FC, Slammers FC, Eagles SC, Pateadores, LA Breakers, Rebels SC and LAFC So Cal each had players named to the 2025–26 ECNL Regional League Girls Southwest All-Conference teams.
Slammers FC’s Andres Rocha Jimenez, Beach FC’s Panagiotis Batsaras, Pateadores’ Jesse Aguayo and Cyrus Soriano, and LAFC So Cal’s Benjamin Andreasen were named ECNL Boys All-Americans.
So Cal Blues’ Brazil Crockett was named U15 National Player of the Year; players from San Diego Surf, Eagles SC, Legends FC and Slammers FC also earned All-American honors.

LAFC SoCal — the ECNL brand of West Valley Soccer League — was promoted to ECNL Regional League Girls, Southern Cal division, for 2026–27.
Legends FC launched Legends FC Washington, serving the Tacoma–Puyallup area under director Kevin Leiva, part of the Inland Empire club’s push to expand beyond California.
SoCal Reds FC will field a team in the USL W League’s 2026 season, replacing OC Sporting FC and extending the club’s pathway for female players into pre-professional soccer.
MLS NEXT added clubs to both its Homegrown and Academy divisions for 2026–27, growing to 318 clubs in 40 states and introducing four new conferences in the Academy Division.
US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer named operators for a combined national competition, provisionally called “NewComp,” merging the NPL and National League for 2026–27 with a postseason run by ECNL.
Players from City SC, Pateadores, Legends FC, Rebels and Albion SC San Diego were among 80 called to U.S. Soccer’s West Region U-14 camp in Carson.
San Diego Surf acquired FC Sol and rebranded it San Diego Surf North, extending the Surf organization into San Marcos and North County.
U.S. Soccer and US Club Soccer signed a managed services agreement under which the federation will run US Club Soccer’s HR, IT and finance operations as part of its youth pathway strategy.
